Historic Hyde Park:

Making History a Destination

Objective: was to boost tourism in the Hudson Valley and

Historic Hyde Park.

Results: was to design a rack card to showcase not only

the five major tourist attractions in Hyde Park but some of the

other popular attractions in the area. Intending also to use it as

a handout to bus tour operators and Visitor Centers. Using the

Roosevelts was the graphic cornerstone of the brochure.

FDR Library/Historic Hyde Park

Objective: Again, in an effort to boost tourism in the Hudson

Valley and Historic Hyde Park.

Results: An ad campaign using FDR as the draw to make visitors

aware of how close and easy Historic Hyde Park is to get to and all it has to offer. The ads

were followed by a billboard at a number of train stations on the Hudson Line. A logo was

also designed to commemorate  FDR’s 125 Anniversary. The banners created hung at the

FDR Library
